Royal British Society of Sculptors

Advancing the art and practice of sculpture...

Committed to the pursuit of excellence in the art form, the Society aims to inspire, inform and engage people with sculpture.

It offers opportunities to see/experience the extraordinary diversity of contemporary work and to learn about from those that make it.

It supports sculptors by providing bursaries to newly emergent sculptors, professional development seminars, a mentoring scheme and awards.

It is a membership society of professional sculptors and was established in 1905 as a not-for-profit company (83239), becoming a registered charity in 1963. It is the oldest and largest organisation dedicated to sculpture in the UK.

“With its diversity of practicing sculptors and a single focus the RBS is uniquely placed to promote sculpture as a dynamic and relevant art form within contemporary society.”
