Sculpture Workshops for Schools
The RBS’s mission to educate the public about the best of contemporary sculpture is demonstrated by our ongoing series of Education Workshops designed specifically for primary school children. These 75 minute long workshops are held in the RBS galleries and draw on our varied program of exhibitions for inspiration. After a brief introduction to sculpture and the exhibition on view, children are given a drawing exercise, followed by the extremely popular ‘making session’. This hands-on activity allows children to create their own small sculptures which they can take home.
