RBS Team

Under the RBS Council’s strategic guidance, the RBS team is responsible for the day to day management of the charity and the design and delivery of the programme of activities to advance and promote the art of sculpture.

Led by the Director, the team is a mix of full and part time employed and engaged staff and long term volunteers and is based at the RBS head offices in South Kensington, London.

Anne Rawcliffe-King, Director
Originally trained as a sculptor, Anne worked in a variety of roles in the creative industries for twenty five years, from BBC researcher to CEO of a music collecting society, before returning to the visual arts when she joined the RBS late in 2002.  She runs the organisation full time and reports to the RBS Council.
 
Lisa Howard, Education Manager
Before joining the RBS in 2009, Lisa had worked in a number of visual arts organisations and also completed an MA in Art History. She manages a comprehensive programme of residencies, seminars and awards for sculptors and education opportunities for the public. Lisa works part-time, Tuesday to Thursday.

Shital Pattani, Exhibition Manager
Having completed her studies in the USA, Shital worked in higher education, the voluntary sector and for visual arts organisations before joining the RBS in 2008.  She works four days a week and is responsible for delivering the exhibition programme, including talks and debates.

Cynthia Scoville, Schools Coordinator         
After working for Christie’s in London, Cynthia came to the RBS in 2008 to volunteer on the schools programme.  She now runs - Three Dimensions – the RBS sculpture workshops for primary school children and usually works part time, Tuesday and Wednesday.  
      
Michael Whitham, Development Coordinator        
Michael studied History of Art at Edinburgh University and worked as a researcher at the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow before joining the RBS as Administrator in 2009. In May 2011 he started in a new full time post, supporting the Director across the range of fundraising and development initiatives.
